IT Support · Cyber Security

Cyber security shouldn't be a tool nobody configured.
It's built into your IT support.

Endpoint protection, phishing defence, MFA, monitored backups, and basic compliance — included in your flat-fee IT support and run by an Australian team. No separate vendor, no separate invoice, no dashboard sitting unwatched.

Included in your $199/user/month plan · AU data residency · Monitored, not just installed
What's included

The controls that stop most small business breaches.

Not a checklist of tools you have to configure yourself — these run as part of your existing IT support, watched by engineers who know your environment.

Endpoint protection & threat monitoring

Protection running on every managed device, with alerts reviewed by engineers — not left to pile up in a dashboard nobody checks.

Email security & phishing protection

Anti-phishing filtering with DKIM/SPF configured properly, so malicious links and attachments get caught before they reach an inbox.

Multi-factor authentication

MFA enforced across Microsoft 365 and other business accounts as part of onboarding — not left as an optional setting staff never turn on.

Backup monitoring & recovery readiness

We monitor your backup jobs, alert on failures, and check recovery readiness as part of your flat fee. See Backup & Business Continuity for how it works.

Cyber essentials & basic compliance

Baseline security hygiene checked and maintained as standard, giving you a defensible starting point for insurance and compliance conversations.

Proactive monitoring & quarterly reviews

Endpoints monitored and security alerts reviewed continuously, with a quarterly report so you know your actual security posture instead of guessing.

This covers the technical side. Most breaches still start with someone clicking the wrong email — for the human side of security, pair this with Human Risk Management.

Why Stack2

Security that's actually managed, not just installed.

The difference between security tools sitting unconfigured and controls someone is actually watching.

Typical approach

Security bought as a bolt-on tool.

Antivirus or a security add-on gets installed once and left alone. No one is watching the alerts, and half the settings were never turned on properly.

Stack2

Configured, monitored, and reviewed.

Endpoint protection, email security, and MFA are set up properly from day one and reviewed every quarter as part of your IT support — not a set-and-forget install.

Typical approach

Alerts go to a dashboard nobody watches.

Security tools generate warnings that pile up in a portal no one on staff has time to check, until something goes wrong.

Stack2

Engineers review alerts and follow up.

The same team that manages your IT reviews security alerts and reaches out directly when something needs attention.

Typical approach

A separate vendor for security, another for IT.

Security software bought from one company, IT support from another. When something breaks, nobody has the full picture.

Stack2

One Australian team, one invoice.

Cyber security is part of the same flat-fee IT support relationship — one point of contact, no separate login, no separate bill.

FAQ

Cyber security questions, answered.

If your question isn't here, contact us — an engineer will reply, usually within a few hours on business days.

Endpoint protection and threat monitoring, email security and phishing protection, multi-factor authentication across business accounts, backup monitoring and recovery readiness checks, and cyber essentials-style compliance checks reviewed quarterly. It's part of the flat $199/user/month IT support fee, not a separate product. The backup service itself — the storage and software — is arranged for you and quoted separately.

No. It's included in the standard $199/user/month IT support fee, no add-on charge. The only work billed separately is scoped project work — such as a major security overhaul or new infrastructure — and we always tell you upfront if something is project-rated.

Quarterly reviews cover your security posture and flag gaps worth closing, and our Human Risk Management program provides reporting many businesses use to support cyber insurance applications. We're not a compliance certification body, so if you need a specific accreditation, tell us and we'll advise what's realistic.

Australia. Data stays in Australia across our services — we don't route it through offshore infrastructure.

This page covers the technical side — endpoint protection, email filtering, MFA, backups. The human side — staff training and simulated phishing campaigns — is covered by our separate Human Risk Management program, which pairs with IT support.

Email or ticket us straight away — median first reply is 18 minutes during business hours (AEST, Monday to Friday), and you get an engineer, not a queue. Work to contain and resolve an incident is scoped and communicated as it happens.
