The Stack2 Platform

Run every client's WordPress site
from one dashboard.

Inventory, updates, white-label reports, passwords and projects for every client site — in one place, with unlimited team seats. Built by an agency partner that runs its own client sites the exact same way, so it isn't generic software with an agency skin.

One dashboard, every client · AU data residency · White-label reporting

No credit card required

A real look inside the Stack2 Platform
Sound familiar?

Managing client sites shouldn't take five logins and a spreadsheet.

The more clients you take on, the more the admin sprawls — and the tools that are supposed to help each charge you per seat.

Five separate host logins

Client sites scattered across different hosts, each with its own dashboard — no single view of what's healthy, what's down, or what needs an update.

Passwords in a spreadsheet

Client credentials in a shared sheet or a sticky note, shared over chat, and impossible to revoke cleanly when someone leaves.

Reports built by hand

Every month, screenshotting uptime and updates into a document to prove the care plan is worth paying for. Hours you can't bill.

A bigger bill every time you hire

Per-seat management tools punish you for growing. Add a junior or a contractor and the subscription climbs before they've earned a cent.

The Stack2 Platform pulls all of it into one dashboard — so you spend your time on client work, not on managing the tools that manage the work.

What's in the Platform

Everything an agency needs to run client sites — in one place.

The badges below tell you exactly where each capability lives: your flat Core subscription, per-site site management, or the shared platform. No guesswork about what you get for what price.

Included with Core

$39/month flat — unlimited team seats, no per-site charge.

Core

Website Inventory & Sync

Every client site — yours and theirs — in one centralised view, with basic uptime status at a glance, instead of five separate host logins.

Core

Password Vault

Store and share client credentials securely across your team, plus secure collection links to gather them from clients — no spreadsheet, no sticky note. Access follows the team member.

Core

Task Boards

Track client work — builds, care-plan tasks, migrations — on basic task boards against the same sites the Platform monitors. Full project timelines and dependencies arrive with Grow.

Core

Auto-populated Documentation

A Confluence-style knowledge base that builds itself from your connected sites — the agency wiki you never get around to writing, kept next to the sites it describes.

Core

Unlimited Team Seats

Bring your whole team into one workspace with role-based access — juniors get what they need without the keys to every client account, and your bill never climbs per person.

Per-site management

Add to Core per client site — Protect from $9/site/month.

Protect · per site

WordPress Management (AutoCare)

Core, plugin and theme updates applied on a schedule you control, with automated daily backups behind every change and one-click manual rollback. Care plans on autopilot.

Protect · per site

White-label Client Reporting

Branded, automatic reports — updates applied, uptime and backups — emailed straight to your client. A tangible care-plan deliverable with zero manual effort per client.

Protect · per site

Uptime Monitoring & Backups

Every managed site monitored around the clock, with daily chunked backups and retention control — so downtime and data loss are caught early, not discovered by the client.

Care · per site

SEO & Sitemap Tracking

Track client keyword rankings by location and language on a schedule, plus sitemap monitoring to catch crawl issues early — search visibility that folds straight into the care-plan report.

Also live in the platform

Built and in daily use — during your 14-day trial you get the whole platform.

Live

AI error explanations

Know what broke and how to fix it — instantly. No more Googling a cryptic PHP error at 11pm while a client waits for an update.

Live

Vulnerability Monitoring

Automated WordPress vulnerability checks, per-plugin PHP compatibility and upgrade-readiness reports — so you catch risks and flag them to clients before they become a 3am incident.

Live

AEO — Answer Engine Optimization

See when AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google mention your client's brand. Track brand visibility in LLM answers — the frontier beyond blue-link search, in the same dashboard.

Live

Per-client expense export

Know exactly what each client costs you. Exportable per-client billing data makes invoicing and margin tracking straightforward at renewal time.

Coming soon

On the roadmap — join the waitlist and you're never charged before it ships.

Grow

Full Project Management & Ticketing

Timelines, dependencies and workload views, plus client-request ticketing tied to the site or project it's for — arriving with the Grow tier.

Scale

Client Portal & Billing

A client-facing portal with billing and invoicing built in — arriving with the Scale tier.

Why it's different

Not software with an agency skin. Software an agency actually runs on.

Most "built for agencies" tools are generic SaaS with a rebrand. The Stack2 Platform is the operating system for Stack2's own agency-hosting business, opened up to every agency we work with.

Generic agency software

Built for a market, not a workflow.

Feature checklists aimed at every possible use case, none of them built by people who actually run client hosting day to day.

Stack2 Platform

Built by the team that runs the hosting.

Stack2 uses the same dashboard internally to run client sites. When something's clunky for an agency, it's clunky for us too — so it gets fixed.

Bolt-on tools

Separate password manager, project board, reporting tool.

Client context scattered across four subscriptions that don't talk to each other.

Stack2 Platform

One dashboard, tied to the hosting itself.

Passwords, projects, reporting and hosting live against the same client record — because they're part of the same relationship, not separate purchases.

See it in action

The actual dashboard — not a mockup.

These are real screens from the Stack2 Platform, the same ones our own team uses to run client sites every day. Australian-owned and operated since 2008.

Stack2 Platform dashboard showing managed websites, website health, recent activity and today's tasks
Website Inventory

Every client site, one screen.

The dashboard opens on the whole agency at a glance — managed websites, overall health, backup activity and open tasks — instead of five separate host logins.

  • Website health and open issues across every managed site
  • Backup activity, completed vs failed, at a glance
  • Recent client activity and today's tasks in one feed
Stack2 Platform website detail page showing site health, SSL, backups and monitoring for a single WordPress site
WordPress Management (AutoCare)

Drill into any site without a separate host login.

Health, SSL status, vulnerabilities, monitoring and backup history for a single site — plus the activity feed AutoCare uses to apply updates and send the client their report automatically.

  • Site health, SSL and vulnerability status in one view
  • Backup history with completed and failed runs tracked over time
  • Plugin and core update activity feeding straight into client reports
Stack2 Platform Tasks Kanban board showing client work organised into Not Yet, Up Next, In Progress and Done columns
Project Management

Builds, care plan tasks and migrations — on one board.

Every task across every client in a single Kanban view, so builds and one-off care plan work sit alongside the sites the Platform is already monitoring — not in a disconnected project tool.

  • Drag-and-drop columns for Not Yet, Up Next, In Progress and Done
  • Tasks assigned to team members, with due dates at a glance
  • A list view for the same data when a board isn't what you need
Stack2 Platform project overview page linked to a customer and website record
Tied to the client record

Projects live against the customer, not a separate app.

Every project links straight back to the customer and the website it's for — goals, key pages, deliverables and success criteria kept with the client relationship, not scattered across a subscription that doesn't know your clients exist.

  • Customer and linked website shown alongside every project
  • Project brief, goals and deliverables kept in one place
  • Task completion and activity rolled up to the project level
Trusted by agencies

Agencies that run client sites the same way we do.

Marketing agencies and web studios have trusted Stack2 with their own and their clients' sites for years. Here's what a few of them say.

Stack2 are not just a web host, for our Marketing Agency they are a dedicated partner. Working together for close to 10 years now, Stack2 not only manage your agency’s IT infrastructure and cyber security, they also power hundreds of websites we have built for clients. The team are responsive, proactive and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t imagine our agency without them.

Mary-Anne Amies, Founder & CEO at Wise Up Marketing

We've been working with Leigh and the team at Stack2 for several years, and they've become our go-to provider for all things web and email hosting. Having a local Australian team has been a real advantage, and their service has been consistently exceptional. Knowing our hosting is in safe hands gives our team complete peace of mind!

Christian Andrée, Managing Partner at Made Somewhere

I’ve worked with Leigh and the Stack2 team for close to eight years now, and I’ve never viewed their work as an expense, they’re genuinely an asset to my digital marketing agency. They’ve supported me at every stage, and whenever I’ve scaled up, they’ve scaled with me. Their customer service is exceptional; no question is ever too big or too small and nothing is ignored. Leigh takes the time to understand your needs and will work with you to find the right IT solution for your business. Before moving across to Stack2 in 2018, I had tried several other business technology providers. I’ve never once considered leaving Stack2. The consistency, reliability, and local support make all the difference.

Julia Makin, Founder & Executive Director at Sink or Swim Marketing

One platform vs the usual stack

What you'd otherwise buy separately.

Most agencies assemble this from four or five subscriptions. The Stack2 Platform folds them into one Australian dashboard, one invoice.

Capability Stack2 Platform Typical separate stack
Website management & updates Separate management tool
White-label client reporting Separate or add-on
Password management Separate subscription
Project & task management Separate subscription
Unlimited team seats Often billed per seat
AU data residency Often overseas
Australian engineering support Varies
One vendor, one invoice Four or five vendors

"Typical separate stack" reflects how agencies commonly assemble these tools. Individual products vary — see our ManageWP and WP Umbrella comparisons for like-for-like detail.

Platform pricing

One flat subscription.
Plus site management, priced per site.

Two simple parts: a flat Core subscription with unlimited team seats, and a small per-site fee for the sites you actively manage. You only pay to manage the client sites you choose — not your whole inventory.

Add to Core · per site

Site management

This is what delivers the updates, white-label reports, uptime monitoring and daily backups for each client site you manage. Add it only to the sites you look after.

  • Protect — updates, reports, backups, uptime $9/site/mo
  • Care — Protect + SEO tracking, sitemap monitoring, hands-on support On request
Worked example. An agency actively managing 15 client sites pays $39 for Core + 15 × $9 Protect = $174/month — unlimited team seats included, no per-seat fees. Manage fewer sites, pay less; add seats freely, the price doesn't move.

Before you sign up

The questions agencies actually ask.

Is this actually built, or vaporware?

The Core tier is live and sellable today, and the screenshots above are the real dashboard — not a mockup. Start a free trial and use it on your own client list before you commit to anything.

What does it cost after the trial?

Core is $39/month flat with unlimited seats, plus $9/site/month (Protect) for each client site you actively manage. A 15-site agency pays about $174/month. Because we don't take a card up front, nothing bills automatically — you pick a plan when you're ready.

Where does my data live?

In Australia. AU data residency across every product — your data stays in Australia. Stack2 is Australian-owned and operated, running hosting and IT for Australian businesses since 2008.

I already use ManageWP or another tool.

Those are management-only tools bolted onto a separate host. Stack2 combines WordPress hosting, management and AutoCare in one AU platform — one vendor, one invoice. See how it stacks up on our ManageWP and WP Umbrella comparisons.

What about the tiers that aren't ready?

Core is live now. Grow and Scale — project timelines, ticketing, a client portal and billing — are on the roadmap. Join the waitlist and you'll be notified when they open. You're never charged for a tier that isn't built.

Do you offer this to partners?

Yes — agencies and developers can work with us through the Stack2 partner program, and there's dedicated tooling for web developers alongside agency hosting.

Try it, risk-free

Try it on your own clients for 14 days. Free.

Full platform access, plus Protect-level management on your first 15 sites — uptime monitoring, white-label reports, automated updates and daily backups. No credit card required, so there's nothing to cancel if it isn't for you.

FAQ

Common questions

Is the Stack2 Platform live or still in development?
The Core tier is live and sellable today — site inventory and sync, uptime status, auto-populated documentation, a password vault, secure client password collection links and task boards. The Grow and Scale tiers (full project management, ticketing, a client portal and billing) are on the roadmap; join the waitlist and you'll be notified when they open. You are never charged for a tier that isn't built yet.
What's included in the free trial?
14 days, no credit card required. You get full platform access plus Protect-level site management on your first 15 sites — uptime monitoring, white-label reports, automated plugin and theme updates, and daily backups. Care-level management is the only thing excluded from the trial.
How many team members can I add?
Unlimited seats on every tier. It's a flat monthly fee, so you can bring your whole team — juniors, contractors and project managers — into the workspace without your bill going up per person. That's a deliberate departure from per-seat agency tools.
Where is my data stored?
In Australia. Stack2 provides AU data residency across every product — your data stays in Australia. Stack2 is Australian-owned and operated, and has been running hosting and IT for Australian businesses since 2008. More about Stack2.
What does AutoCare do?
AutoCare applies WordPress core, plugin and theme updates on a schedule you control. After the updates run, it generates a white-label report branded with your agency's identity and emails it straight to your client — automatically. No manual trigger, no monthly admin loop. You bill clients for the care plan and AutoCare delivers the work.
How is this different from ManageWP or WP Umbrella?
Those are management-only tools you bolt onto a separate host — ManageWP is US-owned (GoDaddy) and WP Umbrella is EU-based. The Stack2 Platform combines WordPress hosting, site management and automated white-label care reports in one Australian platform: one vendor, one invoice, and your data stays in Australia.
